There’s only one sleep to go until our fundraiser at Brunswick Bowling Club on March 30th! You can check out all the details here. Below is the schedule for tomorrow so you won’t miss out on the acts and people you really want to see!
On the Sound Stage indoors…….

Jane Garrett MP
We’re more than a little pleased to have Jane Garrett MP coming along on March 30th.
Jane Garrett is the State Member for Brunswick, Shadow Cabinet Secretary and National Vice-President of the Australian Labor Party. There will be a brief break in the music during the course of the afternoon when Jane will be speaking at 2:45pm so make sure you’re here in time to catch what she has to say!
Joining Jane will be Abdi Aden, a former resident at Broadmeadows Detention Centre.
Abdi Aden
The very inspiring Abdi Aden will also be speaking at detainE on Sunday March 30th.
Abdi was forced to flee Mogadishu because of the shattering Somalian civil war. Surviving the sort of harrowing experiences that most of us can’t even imagine, Abdi was for a period living at Broadmeadows Detention Centre. He now lives in Australia with his wife and children but knows first hand how much the performances at BDC are appreciated.
