March 30th

Brunswick Bowling Club will be pumping Sunday March 30th as musicians, singers, DJs and songwriters band together to support asylum seekers at Broadmeadows Detention centre. Fundraising from the day will go towards providing ongoing performances at Broadmeadows and small gifts, particularly for the kids there.

Kicking off from 12pm detainE will feature live entertainment including Greg Arnold (Things of Stone and Wood), Shane Edmunds, Lily and Paul McCarthy, Dan Millane, The Spasms, Motel Love, Whipped Cream Chargers, Eastern Dance Troupe and Zang Lingdi.

The Gumbo Truck will be there, a sausage sizzle, face painting, a jumping castle and of course plenty of bare-foot bowling along with a massive raffle!

detainE runs 12pm until 7pm Sunday March 30th 2014

Entry is by a $10 donation or $30 for a family. All proceeds go towards providing ongoing entertainment and small gifts for detainees at Broadmeadows Detention Centre. Kids under 12 are free.
